Culture
Berikon, Widen and Rudolfstetten-Friedlisberg belong to the Mutschellen region. The Mutschellen is characterized by its sunny location on a terrace high above the Reuss valley and the wonderful view of the regions. Also the Egelsee on the Hasenberg, a romantically situated forest lake, mysteriously enclosed by steep moraine lines, legendary fairy tale land from a bygone era. The covered slopes of the Mutschellen Pass, which connects the Reuss Valley with the Limmat Valley and the greater Zurich area in the east. At the Mutschellen junction, you think you're in the center of a town rather than at the top of a pass. The region has almost 15,000 inhabitants.
